Ali Westerman, BS-LN, CC, RYT
Ali (she/they) brings more than 17 years of experience supporting families through some of life’s most challenging transitions. A former nurse and case manager specializing in end-of-life care, Ali has spent years walking alongside families with empathy and steadiness—an experience that shaped the heart of their current work as a trauma-informed family coach.
Ali’s approach is holistic and relational, blending science and soul to help families break cycles and build resilience. They integrate tools such as nervous-system education and regulation, Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, somatic practices, EFT tapping, hypnosis for subconscious re-patterning, and Hatha yoga to support mind-body connection and sustainable change. Ali leads workshops on responsive parenting, relational communication, and skill-building for diverse needs, and works one-on-one with neurodivergent parents, teens, and young adults to strengthen confidence, communication, and emotional regulation.
Inspired by their own lived experience growing up in an alcoholic, codependent home and later becoming a young parent, Ali understands firsthand how trauma ripples through families and how healing those cycles can transform lives. This personal perspective, combined with their professional background, fuels Ali’s commitment to creating spaces of safety, dignity, and connection—where families feel seen and supported.
Ali is especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ youth and families in navigating identity, belonging, and communication. They bring a warm, compassionate presence alongside values of autonomy, curiosity, honesty, and clear communication, helping clients feel both supported and empowered.
A mom of three and an avid lover of the Colorado outdoors, Ali enjoys hiking, live music, yoga, and quiet moments over coffee or tea with friends. They believe deeply in the capacity of every family to grow, heal, and discover more ease together—and bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to every relationship they build at Wonder..
