Allie Haydon, LMFT-S, LPC-S, LCDC
Allie is a licensed therapist and clinical supervisor with extensive experience supporting teens, young adults, and their families across all levels of care, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs, afterschool programs, private practice, and recovery-based school settings. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), bringing a well-rounded and highly experienced clinical perspective to her work.
Having once been a struggling teen herself, Allie brings authenticity, empathy, and a strong belief in the power of feeling seen and supported. She approaches her work by meeting families where they are, helping them navigate transitions in care, and providing guidance through a collaborative, relationship-centered process. She is especially drawn to Wonder’s experiential, wraparound model, which aligns with her belief that meaningful change happens outside of traditional therapy settings.
Allie primarily works from a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy framework, integrating an eclectic mix of modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy. She takes a collaborative and transparent approach, using clear, accessible language and consistently narrating her clinical process so clients feel informed, empowered, and engaged in their own care. Her curiosity-driven style helps her deeply understand each client’s perspective, while also identifying and building on moments of strength and progress that may otherwise go unnoticed.
She specializes in supporting families through key developmental transitions, particularly the shift from childhood to adolescence and into young adulthood. Her areas of focus include substance use, ADHD, identity and self-esteem, peer relationships, personality disorders, and self-harm and suicidal ideation. In her work with parents, Allie prioritizes helping them process their own emotions—fear, grief, frustration, and overwhelm—while building the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to parent with intention. She emphasizes that while there may not be a single “right” answer, families can learn to move forward thoughtfully and sustainably together.
Allie believes that the problem is the problem—not any one individual—and her goal is to help families create lasting, system-wide change so they feel equipped to navigate future challenges with resilience and confidence.
Outside of her clinical work, Allie is an accomplished equestrian who has competed in Three-Day Eventing since childhood and continues to ride whenever she can. She enjoys CrossFit and is training for her first Hyrox competition. An avid reader, she loves fantasy and sci-fi novels and takes pride in her ever-growing home library. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Artemis and Elrond, and exploring new restaurants and local taco trucks with her partner on the weekends.
