Aure Santos, MSW

Aure (she/her) brings over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, parents, and families across clinical, educational, and community-based settings. She holds a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Gerontology–Long-Term Care & Policy and Regulation, as well as a Bachelor’s in Arts & Sciences in Psychology with double minors in Women’s Studies and Non-Profit Management.

Throughout her career, Aure has combined clinical expertise with a social-work lens to strengthen communication within families, build executive functioning skills, and empower young people through psychoeducation and advocacy. She has provided trauma-informed, bilingual therapy for adolescents and their families, facilitated empowerment workshops, grief-support groups, and retreats focused on mental health and family wellness. Her work in hospital and community-based programs has included care management, crisis intervention, and advocacy for children and families navigating chronic health conditions, developmental disabilities, and systemic barriers.

Aure’s approach is integrative and relational, drawing on principles from DBT, CBT, ABA, mindfulness-based crisis de-escalation, and motivational coaching. She is especially passionate about supporting youth in foster care, those with medical or developmental challenges, and families working to strengthen communication and resilience. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to bridging cultural gaps in care and creating accessible, affirming support for every family.

Grounded in empathy and a strengths-based perspective, Aure meets clients where they are—valuing their voices and honoring their readiness to share. She believes every person has seeds of potential within them and finds deep fulfillment in helping those seeds bloom. Outside of her work, she enjoys reading, dancing, candle-making, practicing Tai Chi, and giving back to her community through volunteer work.
