Chris Berry, M. Ed.

Chris (he/him) is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National University and holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Experiential Learning. His professional background spans mental health coaching, clinical case management, leadership development, experiential education, and adult learning.

As a Clinical Case Manager and Therapeutic Coach, Chris supports young adults in building independence, developing life skills, and navigating mental health and recovery challenges. He has extensive experience working with adolescents, emerging adults, families, and educational communities. Prior to entering the mental health field, he spent more than a decade designing and facilitating experiential learning, leadership development, and social-emotional learning programs.

Chris takes a relational, strengths-based, and person-centered approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness practices, and experiential interventions. He is passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and practical skills while navigating life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationships, and questions of identity and purpose.

He was drawn to Wonder's collaborative, family-centered model because of its commitment to individualized support and meaningful connection. Known for his empathy, authenticity, patience, and sense of humor, Chris strives to create a space where clients feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys pickleball, road trips, hiking, beach days, and spending time with family and friends. He values connection, curiosity, adventure, and lifelong learning, and hopes to continue bridging the worlds of experiential learning and mental health as he works toward becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
