Isaiah Jackson-Ramirez, MA

Isaiah (he/him/they/them) holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Somatic Studies and brings over a decade of experience supporting youth, young adults, and families across therapeutic, in-home, and school-based settings. His work centers on helping individuals build healthier relationships with themselves and others by strengthening self-awareness, emotional regulation, and communication in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. Isaiah partners closely with caregivers and larger support systems, recognizing that meaningful change happens within relationships, not in isolation.

Isaiah was drawn to the mental health field through his own lived experience navigating trauma, identity, and systems that often lacked the support he needed. These experiences shaped his commitment to creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and able to grow into themselves. He was especially drawn to Wonder’s relational, family-centered model, which aligns with his belief that healing and growth are deeply connected to the environments and relationships around us.

His approach is relational and client-centered, integrating attachment-based work, parts work, narrative therapy, and somatic practices. Isaiah brings a grounded, attuned presence that helps clients feel safe and understood, while balancing empathy with honesty to support meaningful growth. He also incorporates a sense of playfulness, helping young people feel more at ease and engaged in the process.

Isaiah is particularly passionate about supporting identity development, trauma, neurodivergence, and relational challenges. He works collaboratively with young people to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional regulation, and build more connected relationships with themselves and others. He also partners closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical tools and guidance to foster greater clarity, consistency, and connection within the family system.

Outside of his work, Isaiah enjoys staying active through running, weightlifting, and recreational sports like basketball and soccer. He loves spending time outdoors—skiing in the winter and camping, hiking, fishing, and swimming in warmer months. A creative at heart, Isaiah enjoys writing, woodworking, visual art, and cooking. He lives in Oakland with his partner, two mischievous cats, and one big, lovable dog.
