Jasmine Lucas, LPC

Jasmine (she/her) holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and is a licensed Professional Counselor. She brings experience from a range of clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, school-based programs, and private practice, where she has supported teens, young adults, and parents through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. This breadth of experience allows Jasmine to adapt her approach to meet clients where they are, whether they are navigating acute stressors or longer-term growth and healing.

Jasmine has long been curious about human behavior and is driven by a desire to better understand what shapes patterns of behavior and how to support healthier coping and change. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practices, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary modality and the integration of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills when appropriate. She values practical, skills-based tools that empower clients to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in ways that feel accessible and sustainable.

In her work with both young people and parents, Jasmine prioritizes creating a safe, supportive space rooted in active listening, empathy, and compassion. She takes time to truly get to know her clients and families, ensuring she understands their unique needs and goals so she can provide thoughtful, individualized support. Her approach is adaptable and collaborative, with a focus on meeting clients and parents where they are while fostering trust, clarity, and meaningful progress.

Drawn to Wonder’s mission of making a positive impact in the community while offering flexibility and autonomy in care, Jasmine values the opportunity to support families in ways that are both relational and practical. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, sports, trying new restaurants, and spending intentional time recharging on her own. Raised in Chicago and coming from a big family, Jasmine brings a grounded, relational perspective to her work and shows up with warmth, consistency, and genuine care for the individuals and families she supports.
