Jennifer Guerra, MA

Jen is a compassionate, intuitive coach with a rich background in holistic wellness, behavior change, and student support. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University, a Holistic Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, and a master’s degree in Health Education from John F. Kennedy University. In addition to her work with Wonder, she supports students at a university by helping them develop healthy habits, improve executive functioning, and find balance in their academic and personal lives.

Her passion for working with young people is deeply rooted in her own mental health journey. Having navigated depression, anxiety, and significant life stressors, Jen brings empathy, understanding, and lived experience to her work. She is drawn to Wonder’s mission of supporting teens and families with real-time, relational guidance and hopes to be a steady, uplifting presence for young people who may feel overwhelmed or unsure where to turn.

Jen blends motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral coaching, mindfulness, and SMART goal-setting to create practical, accessible pathways for change. She helps clients explore unhelpful thought patterns, stay grounded in the present, and build confidence through achievable steps forward. She also incorporates creativity and the arts as a powerful healing tool—encouraging clients to express themselves through drawing, music, movement, writing, or other forms of artistic exploration to regulate their emotions and find flow.

As a coach, Jen leads with empathy, patience, and curiosity. She meets each young person exactly where they are, offering open space, thoughtful guidance, and holistic frameworks to help them feel successful and supported. She sees every client as a unique individual with their own strengths, rhythms, and ways of navigating the world.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys dancing, learning the ukulele, attending church, and exploring her spiritual interests. She loves spending time with her son, biking local trails, visiting parks, and caring for their relaxed Candino Ball Python, Captain Sandy. Above all, Jen is grateful for the opportunity to support the Wonder community and help young people move toward healthier, more empowered lives.
