Josue Dupervil, MS, RBT

Josue brings a compassionate, relationship-centered approach to his work with young people and families. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). His professional experience includes behavioral health, crisis support, forensic mental health, community outreach, and direct support for individuals and families.

Josue is passionate about helping young people recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop the confidence and skills needed to move forward. His approach draws from person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and behavioral principles. He focuses on building trust, developing coping and problem-solving skills, strengthening emotional regulation and communication, and helping young people set achievable goals through real-life experiences.

Josue especially enjoys supporting young people navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, self-esteem, social skills, crisis situations, and major life transitions. He believes that every person is more than the challenges they are currently experiencing and works to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered while also developing accountability and independence.

Outside of work, Josue enjoys creative projects, music, writing, learning, spending time with family, community involvement, and exploring new experiences. He is also working toward growing a farm and enjoys planting, caring for his seven chickens, and learning along the way.

Josue’s goal is simple: to help every young person and family he works with leave their time together feeling more capable, confident, and hopeful than when they started.
