Kossouth Bradford

Kossouth began his career working as a live-in au pair, an experience that sparked his appreciation for child development and family dynamics. He went on to spend more than a decade serving children and families in the foster care system as both a case manager and clinical mental health consultant, providing case management, crisis triage, and direct therapeutic support. Today, he works as a school counselor in an independent K–9 school, where he provides individual counseling, facilitates social skills groups, collaborates with parents and outside providers, and coordinates an interdisciplinary health team to support students with complex needs. He also maintains a private therapy practice, working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

His passion for mental health began with a simple but profound realization as a teenager—that sharing our fears and insecurities in a safe, supportive space can be deeply healing. Growing up with a mother who was a social worker and a father who was a teacher, he witnessed the importance of serving marginalized communities and helping others access the support they need. Those experiences continue to shape his work today.

Kossouth was drawn to Wonder's approach of meeting young people where they feel most comfortable, whether that's on a hike, throwing a football, playing chess, or engaging in another meaningful activity. He believes that therapy is most effective when it feels safe, authentic, and connected to a client's everyday life.

His clinical approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and EMDR when appropriate. He believes in leading with curiosity, compassion, humility, and presence while creating an environment where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Through humor, patience, and genuine connection, he helps clients understand themselves more deeply, build confidence, and move toward lasting growth.

Kossouth has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, mindset development, and life transitions. He enjoys helping clients understand the nature of their thoughts and emotions while developing practical skills to create healthier, more fulfilling lives. When working with parents, he emphasizes validation, curiosity, and hope, drawing not only from his clinical expertise but also from his own experiences as a parent.

Outside of work, Kossouth enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, listening to music, exercising, coaching and watching sports, practicing mindfulness, exploring sports psychology, learning about the nature of the mind and nonduality, and spending time outdoors. He strives to approach life with optimism and gratitude, believing that even life's greatest challenges can become opportunities for growth and understanding.
