Lisa Lee, AMFT

Lisa (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and training in Brainspotting (Level 1). With four years of experience as a School Mental Health Therapist, Lisa brings a deep understanding of the emotional, social, and behavioral challenges young people face in academic environments. Her work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a strong belief in meeting kids and teens exactly where they are—emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Lisa’s therapeutic approach integrates interpersonal, client-centered, cognitive, and psychoanalytic methods. She draws from trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, psychoeducation, and family systems therapy to provide holistic support to her clients. Known for her warmth, authenticity, and natural ability to listen, Lisa creates a safe, non-judgmental space where young people feel heard and supported—while also being gently challenged to grow.

She is especially passionate about working with adolescents navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, identity development, and relationship challenges with peers and family. Her background in school-based counseling helps her support students in building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence in both academic and social settings. Lisa values Wonder’s relationship-first and team-based approach, appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with parents and fellow clinicians to provide well-rounded care.

Outside of her work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two young daughters and their dog. Parenthood has deepened her empathy and perspective, fueling her passion for supporting families. She finds joy in being outdoors, exploring new places, recharging in quiet moments, and embracing balance through music, movement, and meaningful connection.
