Lydia Bishop, LCSW
Lydia Bishop (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Canton, Georgia. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University and soon after worked for Cherokee County as a probation officer for adults. Lydia quickly recognized that many of the individuals she worked within the judicial system needed resources and therapeutic support. Given this recognition, she started exploring ways to support those with mental health struggles and soon returned to Kennesaw State University to receive her Masters of Arts degree in Social Work.
Following her graduate program, Lydia began working with adolescents and young adults in various settings, including Drug and Alcohol Treatment Courts, Juvenile Detention Centers, private practice, Residential Treatment Centers, and in-home community counseling. In 2010, Lydia started as a mentor for Dave and Willow at Vive Family Support Program in the Atlanta area and in 2013 became their Admissions Director. Her experience has provided her the opportunity to support families across the country in need of therapeutic support.
Lydia is excited to be a part of the Wonder team so she can continue her love of helping families in a community-based, coaching and family therapy model. In her free time, you can find Lydia spending time with her two young daughters.
